Construction sites

A site office was established at Yantai Raffles Shipyard in March 2006. 

The COSL Site Team is consisting of a good mix of local Chinese people and expatriates. The Team covers all the main disciplines needed for engineering, construction and commissioning, as well as some positions allocated for the operation of the rigs when they are delivered. 

The site team has modern office facilities with space also for client representatives, service personnel and visitors, and now as three semi rigs are delivered, the site team will concentrate on finalising the forth unit - COSLProspector.

Yantai is a fast developing city in the east of Shandong Province. It has a population of approximately six million people, including the city and surrounding areas. The city has good connections with both domestic and international flights and train services are connecting Yantai to all major cities. The expatriate community in the city is still relatively small but growing. For leisure trips or big city experiences, the travel to Beijing, Shanghai or Qingdao is easily arranged.
