Milestone for COSL Drilling Europe
(16.08.2011)Statoil has accepted that COSLPioneer is in accordance with their requirements and specifications agreed in the contract between Statoil and CDE.
COSLPioneer commenced contract and left Stavanger at 21:00 hrs yesterday (15.08.2011), and is on her way to the first well location, "DR.NO" at the Sleiner area. The ETA is tonight at 17:00 hrs.
After pairing of the mooring wires to the previously deployed anchors, the rig will perform a POSMOOR ATA test. This test has an estimated duration of 2 days. COSLPioneer is expected to start the drilling operations in the Sleipner area on Friday 19.08.2011
