Focus areas in 2011
In 2011 COSL Drilling Europe AS will have 3 units in operation on the Norwegian and UK Continental Shelf, this includes two accommodation unit operations for ConocoPhillips and the COSLPioneer which will be drilling for Statoil. At the same time we will maintain our focus on the construction projects for COSLInnovator and COSLPromoter, to ensure that these rigs are constructed in accordance with the applicable requirements and that the projects are completed in a safe and efficient manner. We will also take over the COSLInnovator from the shipyard and sail to Norway for commencement of operations on the Troll field for Statoil.
We will take over management of the COSLRigmar, which is presently on contract with ConocoPhillips on the Ekofisk field. Main focus is to ensure that we get a controlled, effective and safe transition of the COSLRigmar, and that both the COSLRival and COSLRigmar are safely moved to the new locations.
It is also very important to mention that we are continuously growing, and we will have many new colleagues in the time to come. It is therefore also a main focus to ensure that all new employees are made welcome and properly integrated into our organisation and systems.
